LIFE AID INTERNATIONAL (LAI) & GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT GROUP (GDG)
This allows tax deductibility within Australia and
several other countries including the USA. The fee for us using this system of
tax deductable giving is 10% of the gifts received. Any gift over AUS$2 is tax
deductable. Gifts should go through LAI who will pass them onto GDG. GDG is the
organization which makes it possible through their relationship with AusAID for
such tax deductable gifts to be sent overseas. Eventually gifts will be able to
be given through either organization but at the moment they all are to go
through LAI. Their details are as follows or you can find details for both
organizations on the internet as shown below. We are delighted to be working
with these 2 organizations. They bring a much wider contact group onto the
scene than we had alone, as well as bringing tax deductibility.
After making a donation please email the following information to <aid@lifeaidinternational.org.au>
so that they can issue you with a receipt for taxation purposes: Your name/
date and amount donated/ your address/ your ABN number if you have one/ and
where the gift is intended for – in our case ETHIOPIA.
Donating – this information can be used either
for internet banking or for depositing money or cheques in their bank.

Online Donations
People wanting to donate via Life
Aid International using their credit card can donate online via “Our
Community” which is a free online donations service set up for LAI.
The website below is a 24-hour-day, seven-day-a-week service which ensures that
people can donate to any current project of Life Aid International at any time
of the day or night.

The online donations service is totally secure and ensures that 100 per cent
of the donation goes straight to Life Aid International. Only normal bank fees
and credit card fees are deducted from the donation.
