I was born in Sydney but grew up in the south east of SA. Farm work
and church – on Sundays, meant that I didn’t learn to cook until after we were married. Besides riding a horse and chasing sheep and cattle was much more fun that ‘slaving over a hot stove.’ Also being able to kill a snake is a real asset!!!
I made a decision to be a Christian when I was twelve. But it has taken many years and it is still ongoing for me to realise that being a Christian is basically knowing Jesus. Knowing who He is and how He wants me to live.
We have 6 wonderful children – I only wanted three but God knew best. Our in-laws are a bonus and we love our grandchildren dearly.
My hobbies are gardening and reading. I love teaching and my four years at Bingham Academy were from that point of view years I will never forget. They gave me much joy.
